Lead Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Chady Property Management is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team in managing vacation rental properties in TN, FL, and GA. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance duties, such as touch up painting, preventative maintenance work, putting furniture together, HVAC and heating. The ideal candidate should be familiar with HVAC systems and have relevant certifications. This position answers directly to the General Manager and or Owner of Chādy Property Management.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties to ensure all properties are in good working condition.
• Conduct HVAC and heating system inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance work, such as touch up painting, fixing broken items, and installing new ones.
• Assemble and arrange furniture to ensure the units are ready for guests.
• Mow lawns and maintain landscaping for a beautiful exterior presentation.
• Setup new rental units and ensure they are fully stocked with all necessary items.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the properties are well-maintained.
• Assist with guest-related issues, such as responding to maintenance requests.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive company vehicles.
• Must be able to be part of the on call schedule.
• General woodwork repair as needed for decks and miscellaneous.
• Any other duties assigned to you by Owner or General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or handyman work.
• Must have HVAC and heating system experience and relevant certifications.
• Experience with painting, handyman work, furniture assembly, and lawn care.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Payment Target

This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $X per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings options.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a salary of $58,000 per year, plus health benefits including dental and vision. The Lead Maintenance Technician will work in a variety of settings, including outdoor areas and indoor rental units. They may work on weekends or holidays, depending on guest needs.
