Position Summary

Our vacation rental management company is seeking a friendly, customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests and property owners, ensuring that their vacation rental experience meets or exceeds their expectations.


  • Respond to guest and owner inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, via phone, email, or chat.
  • Manage reservations, including booking and payment processing, modifications, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure that guests and owners receive timely and accurate information about their reservations, check-in and check-out procedures, property amenities, local attractions, and any other relevant information.
  • Resolve issues and complaints, including those related to maintenance, housekeeping, security, and other aspects of the vacation rental experience, with empathy and diplomacy.
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests and owners regarding local attractions, restaurants, activities, and services that would enhance their vacation experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and transactions, using our CRM system.
  • Participate in training programs and team meetings to improve your skills and knowledge of our products and services.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in the vacation rental industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to empathize with customers and defuse tense situations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.

Payment Target

This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $X per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings options.

Physical Demands

  • The position requires sitting for long periods of time, answering phones and typing on a computer. Occasionally, the Customer Service Representative will need to lift or move light objects such as brochures or luggage.
